Bonnie Hackney Horner

Townsville, NC - Bonnie Lee Hackney Horner passed away at Granville Medical Hospital in Oxford N.C. on Friday, October 4, 2019. She was born on February 25, 1935 to Hubert and Mae Hackney of Carrboro, N.C. Bonnie is survived by her husband Frank Horner Sr., her two sons, Frank Horner, Jr. and his wife Carla, and Lee Horner, and her grandson, Randall Horner and his wife Jessica and their son, Conner. Bonnie and Frank retired to Townsville NC, where she attended Tabernacle United Methodist Church. She was passionate about her work with her church, to provide school supplies for children in the Townsville area. Bonnie was an avid reader, and loved her book club, and she was an awesome artist, who loved to share her paintings with friends and family as gifts. A service and celebration of Bonnie's life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 1725 Rock Spring Church Rd, Townsville, NC. The Reverend David G. Pate will officiate the celebration.
