Christopher Daniel Bowman

Christopher Daniel Bowman, age 42, left this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Born in Athens, Georgia, he was the son of Jane Revis and Donald Richard Bowman. Chris was a skilled overhead door mechanic and welder, and a huge fan of disc golf, Georgia (UGa) football, and Carolina (UNC) basketball. Surviving are his sons, Tyler and Brooks Bowman of Ruther Glen; parents Don and Jane Bowman of Halifax; sisters Judith Bowman and her companion, Dale Olenick of Tucson, AZ and Jessica Bowman Hughes (Thomas) of Benson, NC; nieces Isabel West, Camilla Vazquez, and Sofia Vazquez all of Tucson; and Evelyn Hughes of Benson, NC; nephews Conner West of Marble Falls, TX, Dominic Vazquez of Tucson, and Emmett and Ethan Hughes of Benson; and far too many aunts and cousins to name. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarene McSwain and Ruben Long Whitfield of Garner, NC; Nancy Jean Gardner Gentry of Roxboro, NC and Richard Luther Bowman of Creedmoor, NC; and his uncle Thomas Wayne Bowman of Providence, NC. No memorial is planned at this time, although cremation services are by the Cremation Society of Virginia, Clarksville. Please remember Chris in your prayers.
