Duane Edward Walker

South Hill, VA - Duane Edward Walker, age 46, of South Hill, VA died January 5, 2018. He is survived by his son Clayton (Clay) Neil Walker and daughter Taylor Leigh Ann Walker of South Hill. He is also survived by his mother Phyllis A. Walker of South Hill, his father Edward B. Walker III and Wilma of Roanoke Rapids, NC, his brother Brian A. Walker of South Hill and sister Shelley W. Miller of Harrisonburg, VA as well as his special friend Betty Tulloh Price of Rawlings, VA. Duane was an employee of VDOT and a friend to many. Visitation will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church, Hwy 138 Lacrosse, VA with Pastor Dan Jarrell officiating. Private burial will be at a later date in Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Rock United Methodist Church Building Fund in memory of Duane Walker, 75 Rock Church Rd.
