Irene F. VanSickle (Frazier) passed away in her home, surrounded by loving family members, onSeptember 6, 2021. Born July 23,1923 in Troy, New Hampshire to Arthur and Margaret (Connelly) Frazier, Irene is survived by her devoted husband of 75 years, Roy VanSickle. She isalso survived by her four children Dennis VanSickle, Mark VanSickle, Janice VanSickle Mayorga and Michael VanSickle; three grandchildren Gloria, Rochelle, and Steven; herstepbrother Glenn Frazier and her two stepsisters Brenda Griffin and Ann Foster. Irene spent much of her life raising her family of four children. She also enjoyed a successfulcareer as an interior designer. She touched so many lives with her talent and ability to transformand beautify any space. She was also a seamstress extraordinaire who turned out beautifulclothes and home décor. She was a gardening magician who could make anything grow andbloom. And then there was her tap dancing to which she donated her time as a tap teacher at theBerkeley California Senior Center until just a few years ago. Irene brought her talent and gave her unstoppable energy to every day of her 98 years on thisEarth. She is now in God’s care alongside her beloved sister, Gladys. The memory of Irene’s life serves as an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She saw each day as an opportunity to beproductive, to give to others, and to create something beautiful.
