Jackie Hallett Ketchum

Jackie Hallett Ketchum of Stuarts Draft, VA, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the age of 86. Born in Accomack County, VA, on December 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hetty Kellam Hallett. Jackie was a long time resident of Boydton, VA up until 2017 when she moved to the mountains.  Jackie entertained countless children and adults for many years as “Cream Puff” the clown. She also changed many lives as an active AA Sponsor and she herself celebrated 40 years sober.  Jackie had a way of celebrating life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face.  She spread joy and happiness throughout her life and made a difference in so many because of it.

Cherishing her memory are her children, Mary Beth Moran (Don) of Staunton, VA, and John Robert Burch (Michelle) of Kittrell, NC; grandchildren, Cara, Dillon, Wyatt, Kaitlin, Kelsey, Taylor, Makenzi, Tony, Miranda and Kayla; great grandchildren, Andie, Addison, Rian, Roree, Olivia, Lennox, Landon, Caleb, Noah, Charlie and Ellie and by her special friend, Bob Hall. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Reverend Robert Burch and Bud Ketchum.
