Mary Ann Mayo Wilbourne, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Granville Medical Center, Oxford, NC. Mary was born August 28, 1931 in Charlottesville to Richard Dabney and Elizabeth Glass Mayo. Mary was a great lover of the game of Bingo and was an avid homemaker. Mrs. Wilbourne is the widow ofMerylen Winn Wilbourne; daughters Linn Kapus of Clarksville and Beth Thompson of Bullock, NC; sons, Douglas Wilbourne of Oxford, NC and Neal Wilbourne of Rolesville, NC; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held for family and friends on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 12 noon at Beth Thompson’s residence: 2638 Propus Wilkerson Road, Bullock, NC 27507.
