Paul Basak

Clarksville, VA - Paul Basak, husband of Virginia Basak, passed away at home on December 10, 2016 at the age of 61.He was born in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late Stanley and Sophie Basak. Paul was retired from law enforcement in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill and moved to Clarksville in 2005.He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, the Clarksville Ruritan Club and the Clarksville Museum. Paul is survived by his wife, Ginny; sister and brother in law, Patricia and John di Sandro; nephew, Nicholas and many loving cousins and friends.Paul has step children, Robert Ashley of Centreville, VA and Elizabeth Ashley Bacro, and her husband, Frederic and step grandchildren, Dominic and Anne-Catherine, all of Brussels, Belgium. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future in Clarksville. Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Virginia-Southside.
