Robert Edward Nuckols

Robert Edward Nuckols, husband of Patsy Watson Nuckols, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the age of 72. He was born to the late William Bryan and Nancy Moore Nuckols on January 12, 1949, in Danville, VA. Robert graduated from NCSU with a degree in agriculture. After graduation, he started farming, specifically dairy, cattle and tobacco.He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Patsy; son, Keenan Robert Nuckols (Traci) of Bozeman, MT; grandchildren, Riley Grace Nuckols and Easton Robert Nuckols; sisters, Jane N. Whitehead (Bruce) and Mary Grace Paden (Mike); brother, Ralph Nuckols (Glenda) as well as sisters-in-law, Jean Nuckols and Mary Nuckols Claytor. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by daughter, Holly Andree Nuckols and grandson, Kade Robert Nuckols. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Hollywood Baptist Church, 6405 Callands Road, Chatham, VA 24531. The Reverend Terry St. John will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Climax Volunteer Fire Department be considered.
