Shirley Jean Willis

Shirley Jean Willis, 77, passed away on June 15, 2020 at her home in Buffalo Junction, VA. She was the wife of David R. Willis. They shared 38 years together. Born in Barboursville, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Harold Collins Sr, and Eloise McConda Collins. She attended and graduated from Barboursville High School where she was a cheerleader. She retired from the Wake County Public Library system. Shirley enjoyed and was gifted at sewing, cooking, and crafts. She made many peoplewarmer with her handmade scarves. She will be remembered for her smile, laugh and her devotion to her husband, family and friends. She is survived by her husband David R. Willis,brother Butch Collins , son Todd Trivette and wife Dee of Maryland, her daughter Larissa Harris andhusband Brad Harris of Brunswick, GA., Angela Willis George and husband Dan George of Winnabow, NC, Deborah Willis of Buffalo Junction, VA., David C. Willis and wife Tracy Willis of Redding CA. Grandchilden Brenna and Bradie Harris, Moriah, Jake and Ben Willis, David E. Willis and Samuel A. George. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her brother Harold Collins(Bob) of South Point, Ohio. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Sentara Hospice of South Boston, VA.
